uConnect Software Upgrades
We will be performing software upgrades on access equipment at The Wrekin around 12:30 AM, 18th May. Some customers may notice loss of Internet connectivity for 10-15 minutes during this time.

If connectivity is not restored within 1 hour, please reboot both the router and external antenna, then contact our support if the problem persists.

Our capacity upgrades on The Wrekin have now been completed. We can now begin to serve additional customers north-west to north-east of The Wrekin.

If you are interested in our rural broadband service, please click Wireless in the menu above and submit your location and details. Our engineers will then check to see if the service is available to your property.

NOW BROADCASTING FROM THE WREKIN!
Our rural broadband service, uConnect, is now available from The Wrekin. If your property or business has a line-of-sight view of The Wrekin, we may be able to provide you with high speed broadband. To confirm whether the service is available, please fill out our wireless enquiry form and provide the location of your property so we can run a availability check.

The service is also available in Stafford Park, providing a high quality alternative to leased lines for businesses in the area.

Accounting Software Firm Moves Cloud Services to Shropshire
ICANetwork is a bookkeeping and accounting system developed by Mark Brawn of Wolverhampton-based White Whale Software and Nigel Hinton of Shrewsbury chartered accountants Andrews Orme & Hinton.

They have just signed a contract with leading internet service provider Unitron Systems of Stafford Park in Telford.

“Our service levels have been high so far but as we expand our business we want to ensure that these are maintained and enhanced. As well as being a leading internet service provider, Unitron is at the forefront of rural broadband provision and this will make the ICAN system available to many more remote businesses,” said ICANetwork’s director of operations Nigel Hinton.

USERVE LAUNCH NEW WEBSITE
Userve have today launched a new website providing the latest information on our products & services.
Detailed information on our Shropshire wireless broadband service is now available including detailed coverage maps and the ability to enquire with location details so our engineers can promptly check feasibility without requiring extra information.

The new site also aims to give much clearer pricing and specifications on the services that we offer.

MORE CONTROL
The website is the first part of a complete overhaul of the Userve web platform which is planned over the first half of 2012. We will soon be launching a new portal for existing customers giving much better information and control over your existing services, whether it be web hosting, colocation, servers or wireless. We are also giving partners to ability to delegate control of some services to their own customers.
