Data Replication Servers
Unitron data replication offers high availability data backup solutions tailored to your specific requirements. Typically replication is offered as a fully managed service, from installation, configuration and continued maintenance of both hardware and software.
Off site replication services require an internet connection to transmit the data to our dedicated Shropshire based Datacentre. Any internet connection is able to transmit data but for large volumes xDSL or a leased line will be required.
The initial setup process can take some time to capture the large volumes of data ready for synchronisation across the internet between our data centre and your offices.
There are then two distinct options for replicating the data:
- Scheduled Backup
- Real-time replication
A scheduled backup will analyse the data at a time specified by you, and automatically transmit the data across the internet typically overnight.
For the ideal business continuity solution real time replication will continuously copy data as soon as it is saved or created. This solution means that your data is constantly replicating to our data centre to protect your valuable business data, and keep your operations running in the event of a disaster recovery scenario.
